About "Becoming: Who We Are"

"Then God said, 'Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves'... So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them... Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good."

What if we started where the story starts? How would things be different if we thought of ourselves as blinded to a judgment God already made about us? What if Jesus really did want to heal the blind, as he said he did?
What if there was more to our existence than simply getting through this life? And what if God wanted us to live, here, now?

Things would be different. We could be different.

We might just be who we are.

This is my attempt to take a look at life as a process of continual becoming. There are many layers to what this means, and I hope to explore this with you all. We'll be talking about life. All of it. And what it means to be a new humanity, which is really the first humanity. I'd love to talk to you more about this, to hear your thoughts.
