Just (Be)Cause with Kenton Lee: Becoming Episode 11

Kenton Lee, the founder of Because International, joins me and talks about the nonprofit organization that exists to improve the way aid is delivered to those living in extreme poverty. Through the use of innovative designs and techniques, and with lots of conversation, Kenton wants to help other organizations be more efficient and effective.

Kenton talks about "the Shoe," the first project that Because is working on- a shoe that actually grows with a child, and he shares a little bit about the next project they will be working on, which is to improve bed nets for mosquitoes.

In the episode, I offer some motivation in the form of some prizes to encourage you to check out Because International- your choice between two great books, Brian McLaren's Naked Spirituality: A Life with God in 12 Simple Words or Jay Bakker's Fall to Grace: A Revolution of God, Self & Society. There's even a way you can get BOTH books, or, if you already have both of them, some other options.
